Battery Storage Installations

Electrical Contractors & Renewable Experts in Lancashire

Battery Storage Installations in the North West

At Jax Group Electrical & Renewable Services, we specialise in smart, efficient battery storage installations for properties across Bolton, Chorley, Bury, Darwen, Leyland, Ramsbottom, Preston and surrounding areas. Whether you already have solar panels or you’re planning a full renewable setup, battery storage is a powerful way to take control of your energy use, reduce your bills and become less dependent on the grid.

Battery storage systems allow you to store excess electricity generated by your solar panels or charge your batteries from the grid at off-peak rates. This stored power can then be used when energy prices are highest — for example, in the evenings or during outages — giving you complete flexibility over your usage.

We design and install battery systems for both domestic and commercial properties, delivering fully certified, reliable and scalable solutions. As a NICEIC-approved electrical contractor and experienced renewables company, we handle everything in-house — from initial assessment to installation, testing and aftercare.

What Is Battery Storage & How Does It Work?

Battery storage systems work by storing electricity for use when you need it most. For homes and businesses with solar panel installations, batteries allow you to retain surplus power instead of sending it back to the grid. For properties without solar, batteries can be charged at low tariff times and discharged during peak rates.

Modern battery systems are smart, compact and easy to integrate with new or existing electrical infrastructure. We work with trusted brands to deliver high-performance installations backed by long-term warranties.

Benefits of Battery Storage for Homes & Businesses

Solar Battery Storage

  • Store excess solar energy during daylight hours
  • Power your home or business at night using stored electricity
  • Reduce energy bills and improve self-sufficiency

Off-Peak & Grid-Tied Solutions

  • Charge your battery using cheaper off-peak electricity
  • Use stored energy when tariffs are higher
  • Reduce reliance on utility companies and avoid time-of-use pricing

Futureproofing Your Energy Setup

  • Compatible with EV chargers, smart controls and home automation
  • Prepare your property for increasing energy costs
  • Add long-term value and resilience to your home or commercial site

Our systems are suitable for new builds, retrofits, extensions and commercial upgrades — no matter your property type, we’ll design the best solution for your energy goals.
